Goodbye, and stay strong!

1.5 years of Boats & Logs

Writing today’s newsletter is way harder than I imagined. After around 1.5 years of Boats & Logs, this will most likely be the last Boats & Logs newsletter you will receive. This probably won’t be a surprise to you, as I have been creating way less content over the last few months, but I wanted to give you the proper goodbye that you deserve.

The reasons for discontinuing Boats & Logs are two-fold.

On the one side, I started Boats & Logs to bring awareness to the message that building muscle isn’t complicated or requires you to buy supplements for $100 per month. It’s all about training hard and eating well. I’ve said it so many times, and I feel like you got the message by now.

Creating new content would require me to be untrue to my message because I’d need to do what all influencers do and tell you about some studies or whatever that can improve your biceps by 1.35%. So, if you remember only one thing, please remember that it’s all about consistently applying the basics.

On the other side, Boats & Logs has always been a passion project of mine while working a full-time job. But as you know, I’ve started developing an app together with a friend. The app is basically the brain-child of what Boats & Logs is all about and generates meal plans that fit your macros. But unfortunately, this leaves barely any time to produce content for Boats & Logs.

Therefore, I decided to set a clear-cut going into 2025 and to discontinue Boats & Logs.

Building this community over the last 1.5 years has been extremely rewarding. I’ve lost count of how many of you I’ve been in contact with and tried to give the best advice possible through my DMs.

This was something I truly enjoyed, and I hope that I was able to help at least some of you become better versions of yourself and reach your goals. All content will stay online, so you can always go back if you need more information. If you want to dig deeper, I’d highly encourage you to check out “RP Strength” on YouTube. He perfectly combines experience & common sense with scientifically proven facts.

If you enjoyed my content and want a free way to support me, I would highly appreciate it if you could check out the app (ios / android) and leave a review in the store. I truly believe that it can be a great tool for many people to fix their diet and make progress.

I will also keep an eye on my DMs, so feel free to reach out to me with feedback.

Now, it seems like this chapter closes, and there is nothing left to say other than thank you for being a part of this journey and bringing so much joy to my life.

I hope 2025 will be an amazing year for you!

Stay strong,
Boats & Logs
